Youth Programs

Youth are an important part of our ministry focus. We work hard to make sure our youth program goes beyond events to building relationships with each other and with Jesus Christ.

Our goal is to be a connected community of students who are growing in their walks with Christ, serving with a heart like His, sharing their faith with others and surrendering their lives to honor God.

Students are included with adults in the first part of our 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship service before going to a learning and sharing experience designed specifically for them.

Fusion is our Wednesday evening program. Bible study, cell groups, worship, service and fun are all part of this program at various times.  Fusion meets Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Special social and service opportunities are available during the year, including:

• Short-term mission trips
• Serving in the Kansas City urban area
• Parties
• Lock-ins
• Retreats
  

The Evangelical Covenant Church sponsors a national youth conference called "CHIC" every third year.  In 2012 our high school students will have an opportunity to travel to the University of Tennessee campus to worship, learn and serve with youth from across the United States at CHIC.
